M. Y. Ghorpade (Murarirao Yeshwantrao Ghorpade) (07 Dec 1931 - 29 Oct 2011) was an Indian Politician. He was the son of the last Maharajah of the Sandur Kingdom. He was a seven-time MLA and one-time MP from Raichur. He also served as Rural Development, Panchayat Raj and Finance minister of Karnataka state. Ghorpade was the Chairman-emiratus of the Sandur Manganese and Iron ore (SMOIRE) operation. He was a Cambridge post-graduate in economics.
