M. H. Douglas (born Muhammad Hussain) was an Indian actor, action director, fight composer in the Hindi film industry. He choreographed fight and action scenes for many Bollywood hits. He is also the founder of Fight and Cine artist Association based in Mumbai.

Early life and background
Douglas was born on 2 October 1910 to Muslim parents in Hyderabad State, India. His father was a diplomat in the Princely State Hyderabad, having a very close relationship with Nizam of Hyderabad. His father came to Bombay before the Independence of India and integration of Princely State Of Hyderabad into the Indian Union. Douglas grew up as Muhammad Hussain, and legally changed his name to "M. H. Douglas" after entering the Hindi film industry. From a very young age Douglas was recognised as a fighter.
The directors of the movie gave him the screen name 'Douglas', where the name was inspired by the American superstar of that era, Kirk Douglas.
Career
Douglas started his career as a background actor in many silent movies.
Death
After the death of M. H. Douglas, his family officially adapted the last name Khan.
