She attended the German Swiss International School (GSIS) in Hong Kong, before relocating to Yangon to continue her studies in the Yangon International Educare Centre (YIEC). In high school, Lynn was the captain of the basketball team and competed in volleyball. She was also in the student council and the YIEC's first Chief Editor of the yearbook. She left YIEC after Grade 11 due to bullying but had earned enough credits to graduate. Her first modeling gigs were for Adidas in Myanmar and the billboard girl for Star Cola company at age 15. In 2005, encouraged by a local talent scout she entered her first beauty pageant, the Miss Dagon Centre contest in Myanmar and won. Shortly after, she moved to Singapore where was scouted on the MRT by then Channel V VJ host Simone Heng. She then went on to do several print ads including the Victorious Gems campaign, a Myanmar jewellery brand based in Singapore which gained her popularity.

At 18, she completed her diploma is Mass Communication with TMC Academy she moved back to Yangon where she worked with her father at the Stamford City Business Institute as a Marketing Executive in 2007.

She enrolled in New York University (NYU) as an Economics major in 2008 and did her first year study abroad NYU's Florence campus in Italy. She then applied to Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and transferred to a major in Digital Filmmaking.

Model career

Her first break was in 2003 when she was approached by Adidas Myanmar to be featured in their campaign. She was quickly found by Star Cola soon after which led on to major billboards in Yangon. She was nicknamed "The Star Cola Girl." However the modeling industry in Myanmar at that time was not interested in Pan-Asian faces.

In Singapore Lynn had better luck finding jobs especially in print ads and music videos. However, there was a large number of Pan-Asian models in the market which made it hard to stand out.

Her big break came in 2011 when she was selected to participate in Supermodel Me (Season 3), a reality TV show that consisted of a group of models competing for an array of prizes. She was the first contestant in Supermodel Me history to be disqualified.

She was then featured FEMALE magazine's "FEMALE's 50 Gorgeous People" (November 2011) and FHM (Singapore) (August 2012).

In June 2013, Lynn's modeling career in Myanmar finally took off after the country opened up towards international change and her look was suddenly in demand. Being one of the few mixed heritage Myanmar models, she quickly gained celebrity status.

In August 2013, Lynn starred as a guest mentor and judge on Myanmar's first modeling reality TV show, The Model Academy (Season 1) alongside supermodel, creator and host Thundah Hlaing.

She is currently the brand ambassador for the bikini line, Segovia.

Controversy

During the filming of Supermodel Me (Season 3) Lynn and another competitor snuck out of the model house in the middle of the night and came back 2 hour later, intoxicated. She claimed to not be the person in charge of the arrangement of sneaking out but was still disqualified in an unexpected elimination. Her competitor was voted to still compete but with a disadvantage at the next photoshoot.

The New Paper later reported that Lynn's cat had died during her filming of Supermodel Me (Season 3) something she only found out when she snuck out of the model house and into her own house in Singapore, and therefore, was not in a mood to put up a good explanation to avoid disqualification.

Lynn also claimed that a rival competitor had tricked her to sneak out, and in the Reunion episode of Supermodel Me (Season 3) was able to clear the air with the audience of her sudden disqualification.

She was considered for a comeback in Supermodel Me (Season 4) but later rejected.
