Luxgen Motor Co., Ltd. is a Taiwanese automaker headquartered in Sanyi, Miaoli, Taiwan and a wholly owned subsidiary of Yulon Motor. It was founded in January 2009 and Luxgen vehicles have been manufactured in Hangzhou, China by Dongfeng Yulon since late-2010. Luxgen products are sold in domestic and international markets. Luxgen products are primarily developed by another Yulon subsidiary, HAITEC. The company's slogan is "Think Ahead".

Name
The "Luxgen" name is formed from a combination of the words "Luxury" and "Genius".
Luxgen M7 and Luxgen U7 (Luxgen 7 MPV and Luxgen 7 SUV)
Luxgen's first production model was the Luxgen7 MPV minivan. It was officially shown to the public for the first time on August 19, 2009, and went on sale in Taiwan on September 19, 2009. Luxgen's second product, the Luxgen7 SUV, was revealed on June 4, 2010. Both cars are powered by a 2.2 L I-4 MEFI turbocharged engine developed by China Motor Corporation and tuned by Delphi. The turbocharger is supplied by Garrett and powers the engine up to 175 PS (129 kW; 173 hp) and 28 kg·m (270 N·m; 200 lb·ft) of torque from 2,500 to 4,000 rpm. The 5-speed automatic transmission is supplied by Aisin. ABS, EBD, BAS and the Think+ Multi-purpose system (slightly different by trim level) are all standard equipment. In 2014, the 7 MPV and 7 SUV both received a facelift and name change. Following the 5 sedan sold as the S5, the 7 MPV was changed to M7, while the 7 SUV was changed to U7.
Luxgen V7
The Luxgen V7 Turbo Eco Hyper debuted in the 2015 Taipei Auto Show as a one off experimental concept. Based on the Luxgen M7 Eco Hyper, the V7 is basically a wheelchair accessible version of the M7. Equipped with a lower extended tailgate and extended roof. The V7 was later revealed in production version during the 2016 Taipei Auto Show.
Luxgen S5 (Luxgen 5 Sedan)
Luxgen 5 Sedan, the first whole Taiwanese self-developed car, styled by the HAITEC Design Center under the stewardship of James C. Shyr, is the new generation of Luxgen series and was unveiled in November 2011 at the Taipei Auto Show and then officially launched in the second quarter of 2012. Before presenting Luxgen 5 Sedan, Luxgen launched an electric concept car, Luxgen Neora, in Auto Shanghai 2011. Luxgen 5 Sedan is the first sedan of Luxgen series. The sedan was Luxgen's first attempt at competing within the C-segment compact car market. It offers a 1.8-liter turbo charged petrol engine or an 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo charged petrol engine giving 175-180 hp/26.0-27.0 kgm (2.0 L) and 150 hp/21.0-22.0 kgm (1.8 L). It also features Think+ and Eagle View which are usually high-end car technology featuring night-vision and 360 degrees vision.
Luxgen S3
Luxgen S3 is Luxgen's B-Segment sedan which debuted in concept form as the Luxgen S3 EV+ during the 2016 Taipei Auto Show. Going on sale in Q2 2016, the sedan is powered by a 1.6-liter engine and rides on a slightly lifted platform similar to a crossover to provide more comfort.
Luxgen U6
The Luxgen U6 debuted in Q4, 2013. The U6 is a compact crossover positioned under the U7 U6 Turbo crossover.
Concepts and experimental vehicles
Luxgen concepts include a sedan called the Neora, which later became the S5 sedan, and an electric vehicle based on the Luxgen7 MPV, being developed in collaboration with AC Propulsion.

Luxgen brand sales are expected to increase in coming years as the range is more reliable.
