Luke Thilthorpe (born 4 November 1981) is an Australian ice hockey player who played for the Adelaide Avalanche and Adelaide Adrenaline in the Australian Ice Hockey League between 2004 and 2011 and is a former member of the Australian national ice hockey team.

Playing career

Thilthorpe first played ice hockey in 2000 for the Blackhawks of the South Australia state leagues. In 2004 he joined the Adelaide Avalanche of the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL), playing 14 games in his first season and recording seven points. Thilthorpe continued to play for the Avalanche until end of the 2007 AIHL season. In 2009 Thilthorpe returned to ice hockey after a years break, he joined the Adelaide Adrenaline of the AIHL. The Adrenaline went on to win the Goodall Cup, the playoff series of the AIHL. In 2010 he took another break from ice hockey. For the start of the 2011 AIHL season Thilthorpe rejoined the Adrenaline roster.

Thilthorpe was first called up to represent Australia in 2000 where he joined the national under-20 team to compete in the 2000 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships Pool D tournament. In 2002 he moved up to the national senior team to compete in the 2002 IIHF World Championship Division II Group A tournament. In 2011 Thilthorpe represented the Australian national team for the fifth time at the Ice Hockey World Championships.
