He graduated with a degree as a professional musician, with a specialization in technology applied to music from the EMC, a member of the Berklee International Network.

Having obtained his degree, he founds Mandarina Música, a studio that would create a new space projected towards musicians from the New Argentine Jazz scene.

Juan "Pollo" Raffo, the well-known arranger, composer and producer, records his two first solo albums with Luis Bacqué and they begin to work together as a team for third party productions.

Luis has maintained Jazz recordings as his priority, motivated by the passion brought about to him through this genre, and his ambition of perfecting it. He has worked with very popular musicians such as Leopoldo Federico, Teresa Parodi, Julio Pane, Leopoldo, Roque Narvaja, Ricardo Montaner, Los Piojos, El Bordo, amongst others.

His career has made him work with the best musicians in the genre and has given sound to the most important jazz albums of the last generation. Amongst them, we can name: De este lado (Juan Cruz de Urquiza), Vigilia (Juan Cruz de Urquiza), Trio (Ernesto Jodos Trio), El Jardin Seco (Ernesto Jodos), La Palabra Kilometros (Jodos-Casassa), Electrohope (Javier Malosetti) Fantasias Animadas de Ayer y de Hoy (J P Arredondo), Vidrieras (Patricio Carposi), Misterioso (Escalandrum), Visiones (Escalandrum), Homenaje (Paula Shocron) El Enigma (Pablo Puntoriero Paula Shocron), Desarreglos (Mariano Otero), Sicomoro Trio (Sergio Verdinelli), Vetas (Argentos), Jazz Calchaqui (Daniel Tinte), Incafonismo (Daniel Tinte), Reset Nena Bis Blem (Tres Bien Ensamble), Lucecita (Lucio Balduini), Parabola (Hernan Merlo), 3:30 (Hill Greene-Ale Demogli), Guarda que viene el tren (Juan Pollo Raffo), Ludico (Alan Plachta), Ludico (Alan Plachta), Noviembre (Alan Plachta), La música esta prohibida (Nicolas Chientaroli) Viejo Cactus (Carlos Alvarez).

In the year 2009, he chooses to move away from Mandarina Música and founds a new studio: Southernsound.

In the year 2010, he decides to go to New York with the goal to obtain more refined knowledge and the necessary secrets in order to offer Argentine jazz the possibility to record at the level of the great jazz legends.

In 2010, Guillermo Klein’s album “Domador de Huellas” was edited, recorded and mixed by Luis. The album was recognized by the most important media in New York, including the New York Times, Time Out, Wall Street Journal, and others.

It is important to highlight that two albums that were recorded and mixed by Luis, won the Carlos Gardel Award for Best Jazz Album, two years in a row. These were: “El jardín seco” and “Ernesto Jodos Trío”.

By the end of the year 2010 and beginning of 2011, Luis worked on projects that involved Juan Cruz de Urquiza, Santiago Bird, Eduardo Elia, Andrés Hayes, Tatiana Castro, Mariano Otero, Aaron Goldberg Trio, Barry Altschul, Paula Shocron Orchestra, and Alan Zimmermann Trio.
