Lucy Atkins is an award-winning British author. Her novels The Missing One (2014), The Other Child (2015), and The Night Visitor (coming in 2017) are published by Quercus. She has written seven non-fiction books, two of which have won national awards. Many of her books are also published internationally. She has a background in journalism, is a literary critic for The Sunday Times, and has written for many UK newspapers and magazines, including The Guardian, The Times, The Sunday Times, The Telegraph, Psychologies, Red, Woman & Home and Grazia. chairs events at literary festivals and regularly talks about books on BBC Radio Oxford. Lucy has lived in Seattle and Boston, but is now based in Oxford, UK. She is the daughter of the lexicographer B. T. S. Atkins.
