History

In the 1995–96 season the club entered the West Sussex Football League, starting at the bottom in division 5. The team secured regular promotion and in 2004–05 season it won promotion to the West Sussex League Premier Division. Two seasons later the club achieved entry to division Three of the Sussex County Football League.

Several ground improvements were made during the Summer of 2008 including a concrete supporter's path and a covered area to stand 100 supporters. This new stand was officially opened by the TV pundit Jimmy Hill.

The 2008–09 season saw the club win the Sussex Division Three championship and secured promotion to Division Two. The club after finishing fifth in the league at the end of the 2011–12 season, were almost promoted to Division One, when the Surrey County League was expanded from 20 to 22 teams for the 2012–13 season. The club was granted a provisional promotion because their ground met the standards required for the higher league, and the team that finished above them in third position, Dorking Wanderers did not have the required ground grading, however this decision was then overturned by the Surrey FA in July 2012 and Dorking Wanderers were allowed to compete in Division One.

Ground

Loxwood play their games at The Pavilion, Recreation Ground, Plaistow Road, Loxwood, RH14 0SX.

The facilities at the ground have been enhanced over the last decade with the 100 seater AJW Aviation stand opening in December 2011 and modern floodlighting was installed on 23 November 2010 allowing evening games and training.
