Love Yunge from the Desert is a 2015 Chinese historical romantic comedy television series based on Tong Hua's novel Song in the Clouds. The television series was produced by Yu Zheng and written by Shen Zhining, and starring Angelababy, Du Chun, Lu Yi, Chen Xiao, Yang Rong, Su Qing, Bao Bei'er and Rachel Momo. It is a sequel to Sound of the Desert (《风中奇缘》). Love Yunge From The Desert began airing on September 13, 2015 on Hunan Television.

Plot
During the Western Han Dynasty, an eight-year-old Emperor Zhao of Han meets a girl Huo Yun Ge (daughter of Huo Qu Bing and Jin Yu from Ballad of the Desert), who rescued him from the cold of the desert. Ten years later, Yun Ge is now a beautiful young woman, who could not forget the boy she saved. She ventures to find her Ling Ge Ge (Brother Ling) who has also not forgotten her after all these years. However, she mistakens Liu Xun for Liu Fuling when she sees a memento that Liu Fuling also has. Heartbroken that Liu Xun already has Xu Pingjun, she tries to let go. Huo Yun Ge later meets a handsome Meng Jue, only later to find herself embroiled in a power struggles within the imperial palace. Only later on does she come to realize that Liu Fuling is actually the Ling Ge Ge that she has been searching for all along. By then, she had already fallen for Meng Jue.

On March 18, 2013, author of the original novel Tong Hua announced the film rights has been bought by Yu Zheng.
Principal photography started on April 3, 2013 and wrapped in July 3.
This television series shot the scene in Hengdian World Studios, Zhejiang.
On August 18, 2014, the producer released the music video for its theme song, Silk, which was sung by well-known Chinese singer Li Yuchun.
