Loren H. Rieseberg, FRS is a Canadian-American botanist.

Born in Alberta, Canada, his family moved to the US. He graduated from Washington State University, with a Ph.D. in 1987.
He is a Professor of Botany at the University of British Columbia and a Distinguished Professor of Biology at Indiana University, and head of the Rieseberg Lab. In October 2016, he was appointed the Director of the UBC Biodiversity Research Centre.
