League Structure

The men's league has eight divisions (Premier Division to Division seven). There is also a Vets league and a Super Vets league, each with two divisions. Each league has a related cup competition.

The London Hockey League is a separate entity from the England Hockey League and the South, East and West hockey leagues, and does not feed into the England Hockey League Conferences. However, clubs based in the south of England whose 1XI compete in the England Hockey League tend to enter a 2XI to play competitive hockey in the higher divisions of the league. These include clubs based outside London such as Oxford University and Canterbury. The remaining divisions are mostly made up of teams from clubs based in and around London.
