The Loire General Council (French: Conseil général de la Loire) is the deliberative assembly of the Loire department. It consists of 42 members (general councilors) and its headquarters are in Saint-Étienne, capital of the department, and the president is Bernard Bonne. The general councilors are elected for a 6-years term. The Loire General Council includes 8 vice-presidents.
