History
Logentries was founded in 2010 in Dublin, Ireland by Viliam Holub and Trevor Parsons. The Logentries service was built on the technology stemming from this academic research. In October 2013, Logentries named Andrew Burton as CEO and President. At the same time, Logentries announced $10 million in Series-A funding from venture partners including Polaris Partners, Floodgate Fund, Frontline Ventures and RRE Ventures. In October 2015, Logentries was purchased by Rapid7 for US68 million dollars.
