Lo que el tiempo nos dejó (Spanish: What time left us) is a 2010 Argentine TV miniseries of six telefilms about key events of the History of Argentina during the 20th century. They were produced by historian Felipe Pigna. The viewpoint of the stories is not on the events themselves, but on regular people related to them.

Contents

My message

The first telefilm of the series is Mi mensaje (Spanish: My message), directed by Israel Adrián Caetano and scripted by Marcela Guerty and Pamela Rementeria. It is about the last year of Eva Perón, who died of cancer in 1952. Laura Novoa played Evita, and Vanesa González had the lead role as Evita's nurse, Elena. Elena helps Evita to write the book Mi mensaje, and faces the resistance of his anti-peronist family. The real Evita wrote such a book before her death, but its authenticity has been held in doubt for some time. The telefilm achieved 22 points of rating, raising the regular performance of the channel, but still behind the competitor telenovela Malparida.

Unaired telefilms

La caza del ángel (Spanish: The hunt of the angel) will have the lead actors Cecilia Roth and Mike Amigorena, and will narrate the creation of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo. Fabián Vena, Carlos Belloso, Julieta Ortega and the child actor Lucas Mascareña will take part in Los niños que escriben en el cielo (Spanish: The kids that write from Heaven), the Malvinas War told from the point of view of a primary school student. The Night of the Long Batons is represented in La ley primera (Spanish: The primary law). The fifth episode is about the romance of Ada Falcón and Francisco Canaro, played by Julieta Díaz and Leonardo Sbaraglia. The last episode includes Leticia Brédice, Rodrigo de la Serna and Alejandro Urdapilleta, with the theme of Anarchism in Argentina.
