Pierce served as the coordinator for player development for the Cavs from 2007 to 2010.
Memphis Grizzlies
Pierce began coaching the Grizzlies in 2011 and worked under head coach Lionel Hollins. He was also part of the player development staff.

Pierce served under Mark Jackson's coaching staff for about half of a season.

Personal life
Pierce graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in business management. On August 14, 2015 Lloyd Pierce married his longtime girlfriend Melissa Ghoston in Philadelphia, PA.
