Lloyd P. Hines is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in the 2013 provincial election. A member of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party, he represents the electoral district of Guysborough–Eastern Shore–Tracadie.

Prior to his election to the legislature, Hines was a warden of Municipality of the District of Guysborough.
On July 24, 2015, Hines was appointed to the Executive Council of Nova Scotia as Minister of Natural Resources.
Hines was involved in a spending scandal related to his time as warden of the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, in which he charged thousands of dollars in personal expenses and cash advances to a corporate credit card. The expenses of other members of the Guysborough municipality, including Barry Carroll and Vernon Pitts, were also heavily criticized.
Hines was re-elected in the 2017 election. On June 15, 2017, premier Stephen McNeil shuffled his cabinet, moving Hines to Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal.
