Aliya (Chinese 阿丽亚，阿麗亞; born 10 May 1992) also romanised as Liya A, is a Chinese Mongolian actress. She was educated at Shanghai Theatre Academy. Her first play was the TV series The Spring of Gallows (绞刑架下的春天) in 2013. Then she played in the Buddhist Relics’ Calamity (舍利劫), the 4th unit of Bu-Dai Monk Series (布袋和尚新传) in 2014. And she cooperated with actor Tsiao Zhen-Yu, Li Man to form the play in the Grand World (大世界) in 2015. The online comedy The Super Goddess (超霸花神) was led by her role in August, 2015. In 2016, she acted as Shiong Tang in the fantasy play The Nine Lands Sky City (九州 天空城).
Early life
Aliya is a young Chinese lady from Inner Mongolia, born in a prestigious noble family. She dreamt to be an actress since childhood. In 2011, she enrolled as an undergraduate in Shanghai Theatre Academy, where she majored in acting. She attended the intensive courses in school while moonlighted as model to pursuit the career of performing arts.
Career
Aliya started her acting career by the adorable and open-minded student Tsin Tung in the TV play the Spring of Gallows (绞刑架下的春天) in 2013.
In November 2014, the ancient fairy drama the Bu Dai Monk (布袋和尚新传) was released. Cooperated with Ou-young Zhen-hwa and Chiang Lin-Jing, Aliya acted the role Shiao Lim in the unit of Buddhist Relics’ Calamity (舍利劫). Later in the same year, she appeared in the play Still Begonia (海棠依旧) together with Tang Guo-Qiang, Sun Wei-Min and Wang Wu-Fu.
In 2015, she was invited to perform in the legendary play the Grand World (大世界) as Wan Ru, a lady with integrity and skills, struggling in complex relations among Tsiao Zhen-Yu and Li Man. In August, she took the leading role in the first online comedy the Super Goddess (超霸女神) and acted the role Shiao Bao, the lovely and smart Yangchow girl. And in order to fully interpret this character, she picked up the Yangchow dialect for a while. In October, partnered with actor He Lei to star as the young girl Luer in the play Hearing·Love (听见·爱).
On 25 January 2016, she was invited to attend the Grand Ceremony Night of Starring APP. Aliya starred as right-hand general Shiong Tung and settled down in the Sky City with Chiang Ruo-Jun and Liu Chang in the fantasy drama, Nine lands·Sky City (九州·天空城) which was started on 28 January 2016. In April, she was the Tencent commentator for the Cleveland Cavaliers VS Detroit Pistons NBA playoffs game.
