This is a list of the college football teams with the most wins in the history of college football as measured in both total wins and winning percentage. It includes teams from the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), formerly known as Division I-A, Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), formerly known as Division I-AA, Division II and Division III.

Measured in total wins, the University of Michigan leads all other football programs across all divisions with 925 wins. The all-time win leaders in the FCS Subdivision and Divisions II and III are the Yale Bulldogs (890 wins), Pittsburg State Gorillas (687 wins), and the Mount Union Purple Raiders (755 wins), respectively.

Measured in winning percentage, Mary Hardin–Baylor lead all other programs with a winning percentage of .825. The leaders in winning percentage in the Division I Subdivisions and Divisions II and III are the Michigan Wolverines (.731), Yale Bulldogs (.700), Grand Valley State Lakers (.732), and Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders (.730), respectively.

On October 12, 2016, Grand Valley State University announced that it had overtaken the University of Michigan as the record holder for all-time college football winning percentage (for schools with over 500 games played, not taking division into consideration).
