Early life
Opie has lived in California, Illinois, Texas, North Dakota, Virginia, and Florida, and in Spain, Japan, and Barbados. She is currently situated in Miami, Florida.
Modeling
Lisa Opie is an internationally published model . She has been featured in magazines such as "Zoo Weekly", "People", "Daily Mail", "Huffington Post", "Yahoo!", "MSN" and "New York Post".
Miss United States
Opie was Miss Virgin Islands 2013 in the Miss United States Organization. Opie placed fourth runner-up at Miss United States 2012. She competed in Miss United States again the next year and placed in Top 15.
Miss Nationwide
Lisa Opie was crowned Miss Nationwide 2014 in December 2013. Lisa Opie represented Florida in the national pageant.
Miss Florida USA
In December 2014, Lisa Opie was crowned Miss South Florida USA 2016. Opie will represent South Florida at the Miss Florida USA pageant in July 2015.
Lady Code
In September 2013, Opie created a women's wellness and lifestyle blog, Lady Code. Lisa was a victim of bullying during her time at Williamsburg Christian Academy and Jamestown High School (Virginia), and is now using the Lady Code platform to promote women's empowerment and anti-bullying.
Vizcaya Swimwear
Vizcaya Swimwear was founded by Lisa Opie and Franz Orban in late 2012. Opie credits the success of her swimwear line to her network in the modeling and pageant industry. In early 2014, Vizcaya Swimwear became the official swimwear sponsor of the Miss United States Organization.
