Lisa Kay is an English actress. She grew up in Levisham on the North York Moors and has three sisters, Samantha, Sara and Caroline.

Interview with Lisa Kay Star of Sweet River
Lisa first trained as a dancer and performed professionally as such in stage shows for some time. She then retrained at the Bristol Old Vic as an actress with considerable distinction and has appeared in a wide range of roles on the stage and in television.
She appeared in an episode of ITV1's Heartbeat in 2004 as the character of Emma Bryden then became a cast regular from October 2006 until the series' end in September 2010, playing Nurse Carol Cassidy.
Lisa also appeared as Eleanor Ross Heaney in the 2001 film Bridget Jones's Diary.
