Liquid Zen is a contemporary musician active in the genres of electronica and ambient music. Operating out of San Antonio, Texas, Liquid Zen is essentially Roland St. John Perez, who plays synthesizers, bass, guitars and programs electronic machines and other instruments as well as sings vocals.[1][2] Liquid Zen cites a wide range of influences for his music, including Brian Eno, Bent, and Ennio Morricone. St. John Perez also formed his own independent record label, Seventy Three Records, to release music by Liquid Zen and other artists.
