The NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) LipoProfile test is a specialized laboratory test performed on a blood sample that provides a detailed analysis of one's blood lipids including the number of Low Density Lipoproteins (LDL), the most atherogenic of the lipoproteins. LipoScience is the first company to commercialize a laboratory test performed using NMR as a detection method, the NMR LipoProfile test.
