History

Linkagoal was founded in 2011 by Mohsin Shafique and Nasir Jamal. Linkagoal describes itself as a "goal-based social network". Users can create and share goals with others and connect for encouragement or support. In April 2015, Linkagoal launched its mobile app for iOS and Android, and with nearly two million users to date, Linkagoal is the largest goal based online social network. ZDNet cited Linkagoal as being like "a life coach and 1,000 supporters in your pocket." In 2013, United States patent US 8694439  Method and system for a global goal based social networking was granted to Linkagoal's CEO and founder, Mohsin Shafique. In March 2016, linkagoal relaunched with new look and improved features to help goal-setters connect, further motivate, inspire and support others to achieve their goals.

Linkagoal has been featured in many publications. In 2016, Linkagoal was featured on the Huffington Post as an app being used by tech savvy entrepreneurs to achieve their goals faster. And was named 10 Fastest Growing Networking Companies 2016 by the Silicon Review.
