Lindor Covas, el cimarrón is a black and white film from Argentina directed by Carlos Cores about his own script written in collaboration with Antonio Ortiz Noguera and Guillermo Haro according to the argument of Walter Ciocca that premiered on April 24 , 1963 and had as protagonists to Mario Lozano , Elizabeth Killian and Joaquín Petrosino . The film is based on the character Lindor Covas , from the comic created by Walter Ciocca.

Plot
Lindor Covas, a cheerful, brave guy and don Juan gaucho, is the protagonist of three stories. In the first, Lindor saves a young woman from the claws of a villain, in the second she meets some people, and, in the third, she is captured by the Indians.
"Lindor Covas, the cimarrón" is the debut film by director Carlos Cores in which he also plays one of the roles. Cores, an actor who debuted in the 40s, was an important figure of the "golden age" of Argentine cinema. In addition, his career included theater, television, radio and extended to Mexico, Spain and Chile
