Ulvaeus was born to Agnetha Fältskog and Björn Ulvaeus, the former members of pop group ABBA. Fältskog and Ulvaeus married on 6 July 1971. Linda Elin Ulvaeus was born on 23 February 1973, in the Danderyd Hospital. The second child of Fältskog and Ulvaeus, Peter Christian, was born on 4 December 1977.

Career

ABBA disbanded in 1982. During this time, Fältskog decided to record an LP with her daughter. The LP, which was produced with the help of Michael Tretow, consisted of eighteen traditional Christmas carols and children's songs in Swedish. Nu tändas tusen juleljus was released in Sweden at the end of 1981.

However, Ulvaeus wanted to be an actress. After her musical debut with Nu tändas tusen juleljus, she made her acting debut in the 1998 film Under solen as Lena. Ulvaeus then appeared on the television series Labyrinten in 2000; in 2001 she appeared on Blå måndag, released directly to the video. She has also developed her career as a stage actress.

Ulvaeus appeared as a backing vocalist on her mother's 2004 comeback single, "When You Walk in the Room". In 2006, Ulvaeus returned to the big screen in the role of Sofia in the 2006 film Meningen med alltihopa. She appeared in the television series Playa del Sol in 2007.
