As a mother of six, including two stepchildren, she created a series called Moms on the Move, where she showcases inspiring stories about real mothers as a segment on the "10 Show" on NBC 10 starting in 2002 and getting her feet wet with Moms on the Move Specials. She received two Mid Atlantic Emmy Awards for Outstanding Program Feature and Best Show Host for her work at NBC 10. She subsequently went on to produce a series of audience shows from QVC studios that aired in syndication across the United States. When it occurred to her that a mother's voice can only make a difference if men are included, she created Tapping IN, so the messages of happiness that come from stories within the U.S. and around the world, can be explored by all.
