Lincoln Michel (born 1982) is an American short-story writer and editor. He is the author of Upright Beasts (Coffee House Press 2015) and the co-editor of Gigantic Worlds (Gigantic Books 2015). He is co-founder and co-editor of Gigantic (magazine) and the Editor-in-Chief of Electric Literature online. He is known for his "genre-bending" stories and has been called "one of the country’s most respected literary journalists." He is a frequent contributor to Noon (Literary Annual) and has been published by Granta, Tin House, and The Believer (magazine). He has won a 2015 Pushcart Prize.
