Limonium braunii is a species of flowers that belong to the Plumbaginaceae family. The species are endemic in Cape Verde. The species was discovered by the German Carl August Bolle and named by the French Auguste Chevallier in 1935.

Together with Limonium brunneri and Limonium jovibarba, its local name is carqueja.

Distribution and ecology

Limonium braunii is mainly founded in northern rocky shores and rocky areas of athe islands of Santo Antão, São Nicolau, Fogo and Brava
