Lică Movilă (born 21 October 1961) is a Romanian former footballer, who played primarily as a midfielder.

Career

Movilă was born in Brăila and made his debut in the Romanian football Liga I on 21 June 1981 for SC Bacău, in a 5-2 loss to FC Argeş. He spent four seasons with SC Bacău. Midway through the 1982/1983 season, he was transferred to Dinamo Bucureşti, where he enjoyed his most successful spell, including five consecutive seasons of European football, which culminated in an appearance in the 1983-84 European Cup semi-final against Liverpool when he captained Dinamo Bucureşti and sustained a broken jaw. After Bucharest Movilă spent a season each with Flacăra Moreni and Universitatea Cluj. He finished his career with the Israeli side Hapoel, and retired in 1992.
