Letras Latinas is a literary organization based in South Bend, Indiana and Washington, D.C. dedicated to enhancing the visibility, appreciation, and study of Latino literature.

Awards
Letras Latinas sponsors two awards for emerging writers: the Andrés Montoya Poetry Prize and the Letras Latinas/Red Hen Poetry Prize. The Andrés Montoya Prize supports the publication of a first book by a Latino or Latina poet in collaboration with University of Notre Dame Press. The Letras Latinas/Red Hen Poetry Prize supports the publication of a second or third book by a Latino or Latina poet in partnership with Red Hen Press.
Letras Latinas Oral History Project
An online digital archive of video interviews with Latino and Latina writers around the United States including William Archila, Richard Blanco, Victor Hernandez Cruz, Martín Espada, Valerie Martinez, Naomi Ayala, Brenda Cárdenas, Salvador Plascencia, Barbara Jane Reyes, Maria Melendez, Daniel Alarcón and John Phillip Santos.
Letras Latinas Presents
A series of strategic partnerships to produce literary programming around the nation. "Latino/a Poetry Now" in collaboration with the Poetry Society of America. Other partners include the Library of Congress and the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC, and the Poetry Foundation in Chicago, Illinois.
Letras Latinas Blog
An online site featuring e-interviews, book review round-ups, and other forms of literary commentary on contemporary Latino literature. Regular contributors have included Lauro Vazquez, Emma Trelles, Francisco Aragón and Oscar Bermeo.Letras Latinas Blog
Letras Latinas Residency Fellowship
A partnership providing a Letras Latinas Fellow a writer's residency at the Anderson Center in Red Wing, Minnesota.
Past Programs
Latino Poetry Review (LPR) The only journal of its kind in the United States, LPR was launched in 2008 and appeared annually, publishing book reviews, essays, and interviews with an eye towards spurring inquiry and dialogue.
Momotombo Press published new works by Latino authors including Brenda Cárdenas, Wensday Carlton, Steven Cordova, Kathy Garlick, Lisa Gonzales, Kevin A. González, Scott Inguito, Aaron Michael Morales, Michelle Otero, Paul Martínez Pompa, Christopher Sindt, Pepper Spray, Robert Vasquez and Helena María Viramontes.
