Leopolda Gassó y Vidal (1851-1885) was a Spanish painter, journalist and writer.
Life
Gassó was born in the town of Toledo Quintanar de la Orden on 5 November 1851. She developed her artistic studies in the city of Madrid. She collaborated in periodicals such as El Álbum de la Mujer, El Correo de la Moda of Madrid or El Oriente de Asturias of Llanes. She was a member of merit of the Society of Writers and Artists.
Gassó died on 29 July 1885.
In 1891, a collection of Gassó's works was posthumously published, prefaced with an obituary by journalist and writer Concepción Gimeno Flaquer.
