Leo Marx (born November 15, 1919) was a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an author known for his works in the field of American studies. His work in American studies examines the relationship between technology and culture in 19th- and 20th-century America. He graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in History and Literature and a PhD in the History of American Civilization in 1950.
