The Legian Bali is an award-winning all-suite luxury hotel located along Seminyak beach on the Indonesian island of Bali. The hotel has consistently been listed as a multi-category winner in the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards since 2013 and has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award every year since 2011.

The Legian Bali and The Club at The Legian Bali are located on the shores of Seminyak beach, western Bali, parallel to Seminyak’s bustling shopping strip.

History

The Legian Bali and The Club at The Legian Bali are owned and managed by Legian Hotel Management Ltd. (LHM), a luxury hotel management company based in Indonesia. The company was founded in February 2016 by Robby Djohan (an Indonesian banker and owner of The Legian Bali) along with Ralf Ohletz and Djohan’s financier daughter, Irma Djohan. The hotel first opened its doors on 15 August 1996 and was managed by Singapore-based General Hotel Management Ltd. (GHM) from the years 1996 - 2016 until LHM took over ownership.

The Legian Bali has 68 ocean-view guest rooms including 67 Suites and a single Beach House, as well as facilities that include two oceanfront bars, two restaurants, a spa, wellness centre, multi-tier infinity swimming pools and on-site business services. Adjacent to the hotel is The Club at The Legian Bali, offering 14 Club Villas with access to all of The Legian Hotel’s amenities and services.

Spa & Wellness

The award-winning ‘The Spa’ at the Legian Bali has six ocean-view spa suites and a manicure and pedicure room. Guests can choose from a number of treatments including a traditional Balinese massage, ritual, ceremony or pedicure. The hotel has won several spa-related awards, claiming 11th and 10th place in Smart Travel Asia’s ‘Top 25 Spa Hotels & Resorts’ in 2014 & 2015 respectively, as well a top 25 position in 2013 and a top 10 position in 2012. In 2006, The Spa also placed as one of the top spas in Asia in ‘The Ultimate Spa Guide’. The Wellness Centre’s 133 square metre health club overlooks the hotel gardens, providing a living-room style gym and free private or group yoga classes for guests every morning.

    The Legian Bali has accrued an extensive portfolio of awards from the likes of TripAdvisor, Condé Nast Traveler USA and Smart Travel Asia. In 2016 it won the Interactive Media Awards ‘Best in Class’ Website Award for Hotel/Resort Category.
