History

Lee Shu Pui Hall was built in 1993. It was the latest-built building in Chung Chi College in the 1990s and was therefore called the "New Hostel(新宿)". This name is still being used although there are two new student hostels in the college later in 2002, the Pentacoastal Mission Hall Complex, High Block and Low Block.

Hostel Rules

Lee Shu Pui Hall follows the rules of Chung Chi Hostel: its residents are forbidden to violate Hong Kong law, possess illegal or dangerous items, light or smoke cigarettes, stir up trouble after getting drunk, allow a person of the opposite sex into their room or at the public area of the floor outside "opposite sex visiting hours" (10am-11.30pm). The rules, especially those about visiting hours and smoking, are applied rather rigidly.
