Lee McLauchlan (born 23 August 1979) is an Australian ice hockey and inline hockey player who played with the Melbourne Ice of the Australian Ice Hockey League from 2008-2009 and is a former member of the Australian national ice hockey team and Australian inline hockey team.

Playing career

McLauchlan first played in for the Melbourne Jets of the Victorian Ice Hockey Association in 2003. After three years out of ice hockey McLauchlan returned for the 2007 season to play for the Melbourne Sharks of the Victorian Senior A League. He competed in nine games for the season and recorded eleven points for the season. The following season McLauchlan signed with the Melbourne Ice of the Australian Ice Hockey League. During his debut season with the ice McLauchlan only competed in seven games and failed to record any points. As well as playing for the Ice during the 2008 season McLauchlan had also signed with the Melbourne Demons of the Victorian Premier A League however he only competed in one game for the entire season. In 2009 McLauchlan returned to play for the Ice and competed in eleven games where he recorded four assists and 38 penalties in minutes. Following the end of the season McLauchlan left the Melbourne Ice.

McLauchlan received his first and only call-up to represent Australia in 2003 where he joined the national senior team to compete in the 2003 IIHF World Championship Division II Group A tournament being held in Seoul, South Korea. Australia finished the tournament in fourth while McLauchlan failed to score any points in his five games at the tournament and finished with a plus-minus of –4.

As an inline hockey player McLauchlan has played for the national inline hockey team on three occasions. In 2008 he represented Australia at the 2008 IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship Division I tournament, scoring four goals and two assists. At the 2009 IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship Division I tournament Australia finished in fifth place while McLauchlan finished with five goals for the tournament. The following year McLauchlan represented Australia for the third year in a row in the Division I tournament. Australia finished in fourth place while McLauchlan finished the tournament with one goal and a single assist.
