William Lee Kizzire (December 21, 1915 – November 1943) was a professional American football player who played running back for one season for the Detroit Lions.

During World War II, Kizzare was shot down on a mission near the island of Wewak, in the Pacific Theater. His body was never found. Wewak was the site of the largest Japanese airbase in mainland New Guinea and was subjected to repeated bombing by Australian and American planes.
