Lee Calcote is an American-born computer scientist. He pioneered the creation of Cisco Intelligent Automation for Cloud, a leading cloud management platform (recognized by Gartner MQ, Forrester Wave, 451 Research). Calcote served on the DMTF's Scalable Platforms Management Forum to create the 1.0 release of Redfish, an open industry standard for systems management. He currently serves as a Cloud Native Ambassador for the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).

Biography
Calcote joined Cisco in 2008, where he worked on Cisco's cloud management platform. Calcote moved to Seagate in 2014. There he promoted the terms hyper-converged infrastructure, software defined storage and software-defined data centers. Working within the DMTF's Scalable Platforms Management Forum, he modernized Seagate's systems product line with secure, scalable, simple, vendor-agnostic management interface using Redfish. Calcote joined SolarWinds in 2016. He is an advisor to Twistlock and serves as a Cloud Native Ambassador.
