According to Williams, the song is about beeing young, look bright on the future and don`t be afraid of make mistakes because everybody does mistakes when they are young. The song is also about enjoy life and live your youth to the fullest.

Music video

Williams took a day out of rehab to shoot the video for the song, and he explained it was "a bonkers video, 'cause that's how my head was at the time, I think". Williams explained `Lazy days was accially a song that Guy had already written for his band `The Lemon Trees`, and I thought it was an amazing song. But I had to change some of the lyrics and some of the arrangement. I did some minor changes here and there`.
