Lava Design is a design agency based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

History
Lava was founded in 1990 by creative director Hans Wolbers.
On 10 May 2010, it received the title of “European Design Agency of the year”.
At the beginning of 2013 Lava established its Beijing office, taking off its China venture now.
Projects and clientele
Lava caters to many clients. The Moscow Design Museum, the Impakt Festival, the Institute of the Arts Artez and the Istanbul Biennial are just a few on this list.
Awards and distinctions
Lava Design has won awards from D&AD, Red Dot, and the European Design Award.
