Lautu also known as Lawtu or Lutuv are a tribal indigenous people inheriting a mountainous region in Chin State, Burma. The Lautu people are initially known as the 'Lawtus' of southern independent villages. Lautu (Lutuv) is seventeen village. the first Lautu (Lutuv) living Tisen village approximately A.D 1450. They occupy seventeen villages in the region and speak the Lautu language. There are Lautu approximately population 18,000 thousand january 2017, of which 100% are Christians. Lautu have emigrated to other countries as diverse as Australia and the United States.
