Lauren Scruggs Kennedy (born July 18, 1988) is an American fashion journalist and blogger. She received international media attention after a December 3, 2011 incident in which Scruggs walked into an airplane's spinning propeller, losing her left eye and severing her left hand after exiting the plane in the dark, following a flight to view Christmas lights in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

On August 9, 2012, Scruggs made her first public appearance following the accident whe she was interviewed on NBC's Today show.
On May 30, 2014, it was announced that Scruggs became engaged to television personality Jason Kennedy. Scruggs is a Christian. The couple were married on December 12, 2014.
