The show was created by John Langley and son Morgan Langley, of Langley Productions, also creators of the popular reality show Cops, stylized as "COPS", another documentary/reality series on the Fox Network. The series is produced by the cable network truTV and has run for five seasons and screen's internationally. It premiered on January 31, 2010, season two premiered July 11, 2010 and the third season on January 9, 2011, fourth and fifth season were September 4, 2011 and March 4, 2012
