He has had a prolific career as a producer and recording engineer, working with numerous popular acts such as Everclear, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, My Chemical Romance, Young the Giant, and Take That. Fox also served as lead vocalist and principal lyricist of the 1990s experimental rock band Grotus.
