Barangay Lantic is one of the fourthteen (14) urbanized barangays comprising the progressive municipality of Carmona in the province of Cavite, Philippines. It lies for about 3 kilometers away from the town proper of Carmona and is situated at the eastern part of the municipality. The biggest barangay of Carmona, where most of the land here is farm. Located here the famous residential-community namely: Canyon Ranch and the Carmona Estates. and the first "racino" facility in Asia namely: Manila Jockey Club (San Lazaro Leisure & Business Park). According to the 2010 Census it has a population of 4,066 people in a land area of 1,698.0 square kilometres.

Barangay Profile
Barangay Lantic is located on the eastern part of the municipality of Carmona. Approximately 36 kilometers South of Manila and 38 kilometers from Trece Martires City, Cavite’s Provincial Capital. It is bounded on the North by the Barangay Maduya, Barangay Mabuhay on the West, Biñan City on the East and Silang, Cavite on the South.
With a total land area of 1,698 hectares or 1,698.0 square kilometers. Carmona represented 2.17% of the total land area of the province. This area is occupied almost 55% of the total land area of the municipality.
Barangay Lantic is generally found on the mountain foot slope. It forms the rolling tuffaceous plateau. This topography includes steep hills, ridges and elevated inland valley with slope ranging from 8-18% and in the hilly and mountainous area. They are situated at a very high elevation with slope ranging from 15% to more than 40%.
Barangay Lantic has two pronounced seasons – the dry season, which usually begins in November and ends in April, and the rainy season, which starts in May and ends in October. Barangay Lantic is cool periods are from December to February while summer months are from April to May. March, April, May, June, and July are the warmest months with an average temperature of 28.8 degrees Celsius. January, February and December are cooler with an average temperature of 25.8 degrees Celsius.
According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 4,066 people in a land area of 1,698.0 square kilometres.
History
The west of downtown is the Barrio Lantic in Carmona. According to the adults in this area, the area that it previously madawag. Some from the Silang decides to clean up this place and build a houses and counted them to this area. Later, they have agreement to given a name this barrio. Some had that customize the name in the range of house like the letter "L". Others are like "Pinaglantikan". Finally determined "Lantic" to given the name.

As part of the Balik Inang Kalikasan, Balik Amang Pabrika (BIKBAP) Program on Waste Recycling, the Carmona Ecology Center (CEC) was established and started operating in February 2000.The CEC processes the sorted waste from the households.

Economic Profile
The economy of Carmona is generally agricultural. Almost half of its total land area is devoted to agriculture and found here. Foreign investments are pouring in as export-oriented industries continue to flourish.
The major crops produced in the Barangay Lantic are lowland and upland rice and sugarcane. Other crops grown are corn, vegetables, root crops, and fruit trees.
In 2000, an area covering some 23.5 hectares was planted with various crops and fruit trees. These yielded an estimated 444 metric tons of assorted products.
Livestock and poultry raising in the barrio are largely backyard family enterprises. Animals raised are generally for home consumption and additional income source for the family.
