Lankalakoderu is a village in West Godavari District, india. It is exactly 4 km away from Palakol. So many engineers and doctors were produced from this village. Nowadays it is more like a small town. The railway station is located on the Bhimavaram-Narasapur branch line.

Lankalakoderu gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village. The elected members of the gram panchayat is headed by a sarpanch. The sarpanch of the villages was awarded Nirmala Grama Puraskaram for the year 2013.
