Langdon Bosarge (born November 6, 1968) is an American born comic and radio personality, best known for hosting the popular iTunes top 200 podcast, 'Langdon Nation'. Born Robert Langdon Bosarge, he was raised in Pembroke Pines, Florida. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

Education

He attended McArthur High School in Hollywood, Florida and then went to the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Science Nursing. He also attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and the School of Film & Television in New York City.

Professional work

Langdon is a professional nurse, with specialties in Labor & Delivery and Psychiatry. He has worked clinically at some of the nation's top institutions, including Shands Teaching Hospital at the University of Florida, Bellevue and Saint Vincents in New York City, and Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles.

Before moving to Los Angeles in 2006, he spent a number of years as an actor and writer in New York City. Early works include appearances on Sex & The City, Saturday Night Live and Law & Order. He was also a founding member of, performer in, and writer for the theatrical comedy company Circle in the Squirrel from 1999-2001.

Currently, Langdon is the host of Langdon Nation a high energy comedy/lifestyle talk show which originally aired on HotTalkLA, an internet radio station, owned by Jack Sullivan (former New Media Director for CBS radio) and Sam Phillips (Sam Phillips and The Single Life from KLSX radio and MAVTV; Sam was also a high fashion model and Penthouse Pet). He is also co-host of the popular podcast by Los Angeles radio producer Crysta Garner, The Crysta Show which boasts a large and diverse following. Langdon also makes regular and upbeat appearances on radio and other popular podcasts.

As host of Langdon Nation, Langdon Bosarge bills himself as America's gay best friend and has become known for not only his fast and furious humor but also his sound and heart-felt advice and sensitive coverage of difficult media topics. The show is not specifically gay-centric and boasts a mostly straight audience of over 100,000 regular listeners.

Langdon has performed on the main stages of some world-famous comedy clubs such as Pasadena's Ice House and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. His large physicality and outrageous stand-up have earned him comparisons to Eddie Izzard and female comic, Kathy Griffin.
