The land lamprey first appeared in the first edition Monster Manual II (1983).
The land lamprey appeared in second edition under the "lamprey" heading in Monstrous Compendium Volume Two (1989), and in the Monstrous Manual (1993).
Description
A land lamprey is a mutated version of the sea lamprey, which breathes air and moves in a snake-like fashion.
