Lal Darwaza (Urdu for Red Door) is one of the old suburbs in Hyderabad, India. It is part of the old city of Hyderabad, and was built in 1907. Prime Minister of Nizam government Maharaja Kishan Prasad started the Bonalu festival from this temple. Nizam of Hyderabad Mir Mahbub Ali Khan gave donations and lands to this and many other temples. Bonala Jathara (Procession in English language) at Laldarwaza is considered the biggest cultural festival in Telangana.

There used to be a large red door at the entrance to this suburb, named as Lal darwaza (Red Door) during the time of the Nizams.
