Lahbib Choubani (Arabic: لحبيب الشوباني - born 1963, Boujad) is a Moroccan politician of the Justice and Development Party. Choubani worked as a Physics schoolteacher in the province of Errachidia. In June 2016, Choubani received widespread public criticism from all over Morocco. Newspapers reported that he had bought seven 4X4 Volkswagen Touaregs at a cost of MAD 2,840,000 to facilitate transportation for his council board from their homes to their workplace. He added that the geographical nature of the region requires such expensive vehicles.
