LAUDE Lady Elizabeth School is a British international school in the Province of Alicante, Spain. The junior school is located in Benitachell and the senior school is located in Llíber. It was ranked by El Mundo as one of the best international schools in Spain. The Headmaster of the school is Richard Wijeratne and the Deputy Head is Alister Castle.

History
It opened in 1987 with a Junior School. Its Senior School opened in the 1990s. The company LAUDE began operating the school in 2007.
Prior to 2010 the student population decreased due to the devaluation of the euro relative to the Pound sterling and a depression in the Spanish economy; both factors caused British families to return to the UK.

As of 2010 there were 620 students; 60% were British and 35% were Spanish. The peak student count was 720.
School Council
School Council is the school's student government. Each Tutor Group is represented by two ore more pupils. Headmaster, Deputy Head or Head Pupils usually "preside" over the meetings.
House System
"When they enter The Lady Elizabeth School, students from both the Junior and Senior Department are placed in one of four 'Houses':- Woburn House (Blue), Chatsworth House (Green), Longleat House (Yellow) or Marlborough House (Red). Throughout their School life pupils remain with the same House and are proud to be rewarded House Points for many different reasons including; good behaviour, consideration of others, initiative, and performance in all aspects of schooling. Our House tradition contributes to the students’ sense of belonging and loyalty. Many Sporting and Charity events are organised within the Houses and this gives pupils across all age groups the chance to be involved in fun and a variety of pursuits working together as a team." - school's website.
